The problems of the design of complex high-tech products, which is the search for technical solutions that provide a rational
set of characteristics of the product. In this case, are essential characteristics of reliability of the product, defined as
the probability of the product of their functions, as well as the duration of the life cycle and the safety of the product. Often,
the implementation of high-reliability products at odds with the provision of other technical characteristics. Moreover, the choice of effective methods of redundancy and reconfiguration of equipment is often not obvious. In these circumstances, a powerful tool for the design of complex products is a comprehensive simulation of mathematical modeling, an important component of which is the mathematical modeling of failure scenarios that occur in the product, the method is discussed in
the article.
