MOTION OF A THIN BODY SUSPENDED IN A VISCOUS LIQUID LAYER DURING A PULSED WALL MOTION |
A.V. ZVYAGIN, O.R. GANIEV, G.N. GRANOVA, L.E. UKRAINSKIY
The paper considers the possibility of the predicted change in the position of a thin body (a rigid thin cylinder) suspended in a viscous liquid layer during the impulse motion of the layer boundary. The local viscous interaction of the body with the liquid is considered proportional to the relative velocity of the thread point in the moving fluid. The possibility of transferring the body to a position parallel to the walls of the channel is shown. The obtained results allow us to conclude that with short pulses it is possible to achieve that, regardless of the initially chaotic arrangement of the system of thin bodies, all of them take an equilibrium position parallel to the walls of the channel. This can be used in the manufacturing technology of thin plates of unidirectional composite with short fibers as a filler.
Keywords: dynamics, viscous liquid, the movement of the subtle body, the stability of the equilibrium.
