NUMERICAL MODELING OF IRREVERSIBLE DEFORMING AND FRAGMENTATION OF AXYSIMMETRICAL STEEL CHAMBER UNDER BLAST OF EXPLOSIVE CHANGE IN ITS CAVITY |

Calculations of dynamic deformation and fragmentation of a cylindrical chamber under the action of an intense short-term load caused by the explosion of an explosive charge in its cavity are presented. The calculations were performed using the developed numerical method based on the application of the integral criterion of the limit specific dissipation, and on the conclusions of the Weibull theory. The task is directly related to the problem of storing and transporting hazardous substances, as well as protection against the explosive detected objects in crowded places.
