ASYMPTOTIC SOLUTION OF THE PRESSURE FIELD PROBLEM IN FORMATION AND WELL |

An algorithm for the asymptotic solution of the problem of the pressure field in a reservoir and a well operated by a submersible pump is proposed. Accounting for pumping equipment performance is presented as a boundary condition expressed by an integro-differential equation containing a trace of the reservoir pressure field derivative. Analytical expressions for the zero and first asymptotic approximations are found. It is shown that the procedure for constructing the zero coefficient of the asymptotic expansion corresponds to the transition from radial to linear flow geometry. The contribution of the geometric factor is determined by comparing the results of calculations based on the obtained zero and first asymptotic approximations with the exact solution of the problem for the pressure field.
