ION ADSORPTION IMBALANCE DURING THE FORMATION OF CUMULATIVE DROPLETS |

The article considers the process of ion imbalance during the formation of cumulative drops. The concentration of ions in cumulative drops is calculated. The value of the pH difference between the cumulative drop and the initial solution was determined. The adsorption imbalance of the anions and cations under consideration can be explained by the shedding of part of the excess charge during the cumulation process. The electrostatic representations of the process are described by the equation for the amount of adsorption. Using the «mirror image» method, the values of the effective charge of the ion were obtained. The loss of a part of the electron density is calculated. A graphical dependence of the relative loss of the ion charge on the distance to the interface is given. The distance is determined taking into account the action of the ion field. The value of the charge of the cumulative drop is calculated.
