Applied Physics and Mathematics Annotation << Back SEVEN SINGULAR POINTS OF QUANTUM MECHANICS I.P. POPOV Quantum mechanics developed rapidly and vigorously. The first circumstance inevitably led to the appearance of errors in the theory. The second circumstance compelled researchers to go forward all the time, without drawing attention to previous results. Both circumstances together led to the fact that quantum mechanics contains a number of errors. In particular, in the 1s state of an electron in a hydrogen atom, the probability of its being inside the nucleus is nonzero. However, annihilation never occurs. Therefore, the quantum mechanical calculation of the spatial probability distribution is incorrect. The list of presented errors of quantum mechanics is not exhaustive.
