SYNTHESIS OF OPTICAL SYSTEMS WITH MINIMAL
ANGLES OF INCIDENCE OF RAYS ON THE SURFACE |

As noted in many books and user manuals for optical systems design software [1, 2], the calculation of optical systems to
date remains the art of the developer, and not an exact engineering discipline that strictly and unambiguously algorithmizes
the design process. The software systems do not provide for the stages of synthesis, effective optimization, analysis of the
limiting characteristics of optical systems. Design is impossible without the participation of a highly qualified developer,
and the modern scientific basis for computer-aided design (computational optics) in many respects does not solve the tasks
assigned to it.
Therefore, the construction of the initial (starting) optical system is of particular interest to the developers of optical systems,
since the existing software systems are not adapted to help create the initial optical systems, which the developer must
somehow build them on his own. Only after that does he have the opportunity to start working with the software package.
