Compact GPR-SAR |

The problems of development and technical configuration of
the helicopter compact GPR with synthetic aperture (GPR-SAR),
which is an effective tool for monitoring natural and man-made
objects in problem solving nature, economics and management,
and the prevention and elimination of consequences of
natural and man-made disasters. Domestic and international
experience shows that aviation GPR, including GPR-SAR, can
perform tasks such as searching aquifer soil, ice monitoring,
detection of subsurface radio-objects (such as pipelines), the
detection of objects hidden by vegetation, biomass estimate
and a number of others. The results of field experiments and
mathematical modeling, obtained during the development of
the layout compact GPR-SAR, which showed the ability to create
a mock radiocontrast detect subsurface objects and objects
hidden terrain. The proposed small-size helicopter GPR-SAR can
also be placed on the car and provide study subsurface facilities
located near roads on steep terrain.
