Applied Physics and Mathematics Annotation << Back Establishment of a program of surveillance specimens for horizontal experimental channels of the ir-8 research reactor D.Yu. Erak E.E. Sharin V.V. Pesny The analysis of calculation and experimental results of materials investigations on determination of residual resource of the IR-8 research reactor horizontal experimental channels (HEC, beam tube) is submitted. The program of properties changes control of HEC materials under irradiation during the IR-8 reactor operation up to 2026 is developed. Taking into consideration on actual date of HEC material bottoms in IR-8 reactor radiation resistance at substantially high fluence values (E > 1 MeV) equal to ~ 6 • 1021 n/cm2 (for period of operation up to 2031) the program of accelerated tests in reactor surveillance specimens of zirconium alloy Zr‑2,5 % Nb up to the required values of fast neutron fluence is offered.
