Rabinovich Dependence of the radiation power and intensity of LED chips on the current density in a pulsed mode was measured. Used in the measurement technique eliminates the direct current heating of the crystal, and also allow to identify and explain the significant difference in the assessment of the real and driven by the manufacturers of the luminous efficiency of LEDs. This method of assessing the quality of LED chips can be further used in the construction of high-power LEDs operating at high current densities.
