Ignatushina The article discusses the main aspects in the development of differential geometry as an academic subject in Russia XX century. Describes how to build a course in «Differential Geometry» in domestic pedagogical institutions as varied its contents, as well as those scholars who played an important role in its formation. Here we consider especially teaching of this discipline for future mathematics teachers.
