Applied Physics and Mathematics Annotation << Back GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT WITH REGARD METROLOGICAL TRACEABILITY AND UNCERTAINTY OF MEASUREMENT A.S. DOYNIKOV, L.V. YUROV A review of modern concepts and provisions of the regulations, which are recommended to be used in the test procedures for assessing the conformity of diff erent objects, products, processes, etc. Consider the defi nition of the basic concepts: evaluation of compliance, traceability, reference value of measurement error, measurement uncertainty, and others. Defi nitions supplemented by commentaries, clarify their meaning for the correct application of diff erent procedures. The results of measurements on the measurement procedures, the accuracy of which is determined in the course of their application, it is recommended to accompany the estimates of measurement uncertainty. In the methods of verifi cation is recommended to specify the criteria for validity of measuring instruments, taking into account the uncertainty of measurements for verifi cation. The methods of valuation of the metrological characteristics of measuring instruments and the corresponding values of the coverage factor for calculating the expanded uncertainty. When attestation testing equipment necessary to determine whether a test parameter under study within the fi eld of tolerance defi ned by the values of this parameter, taking into account the expanded measurement uncertainty.
