ELECTROSTATIC VOLTMETER FOR DETERMINE THE PARAMETERS OF ELECTRIC FIELD ON THE AIRCRAFT |

The process of aircraft electrization during the fl ight is described in this article. Electrization is caused by atmospheric phenomena and by the combined work of electrical equipment placed on aircraft board. Because the electrostatic charge placed on the hull of the plane and inside it makes signifi cant adjustments to the total electric fi eld the importance of it measuring, is concluded. An electrostatic voltmeter has been proposed for measurements of electric fi eld parameters. The operation principle of electrostatic voltmeter was described. Also the diff erent designs of electrostatic voltmeters having
an increased accuracy, an increased vibration resistance and enhanced functionality were considered. Due to its advantages over inductive counterparts, namely, the absence of
electromagnetic disturbance adversely aff ecting the operation of airborne electronic and radar systems, electrostatic voltmeter is the optimal device to measure the voltage on aircraft board.
