ARE THERE MISTAKES IN MODERN PHYSICS? |

The issues addressed in the article relate to the material equations of electro and magnetoelectric induction and the physical interpretation of the dispersion of magnetic and dielectric constant and explain some of the contradictions that occur in the fundamental works on classical electrodynamics. The concept of magnetoelectric induction is introduced, which allowed us to write down the laws of induction in a symmetric form. It is shown that the results of the special theory of relativity with an accuracy of the quadratic terms of the system speed to the speed of light follow from these laws in the framework of Galileo’s transformations. It is shown that the dielectric and magnetic permeabilities of material media are independent of frequency. The concepts of magnetoelectrokinetic and electromagnetic potential waves, as well as the concept of kinetic capacity, are introduced. It is shown that in an unmagnetized plasma, in addition to the longitudinal Langmuir resonance, there can exist a transverse resonance and these resonances are degenerate. A new concept of scalar-vector potential is introduced and it is shown that with its help all existing problems of classical electrodynamics can be solved. The use of scalar-vector potential eliminates the introduction of such a thing as a magnetic field.
