METHOD FOR CALCULATING TRUE DIFFUSION COEFFICIENTS FOR A BINARY GAS SYSTEM |

It is known that it is very difficult to find reference data of the true diffusion coefficients, as a standard of comparison with the results of the experiment, for the studied binary systems of gases, especially under thermodynamic conditions of the experiment (temperature, pressure). This problem is eliminated by using the proposed method of calculating the true diffusion coefficients. The proposed method for calculating the true diffusion coefficients is based on the transformation of physical and mathematical formulas for fixing reference systems and the transition from one reference system to another. In the presence of the initial parameter-the coefficient of mutual diffusion, with the necessary thermodynamic parameters (temperature, pressure), found in the thermophysical reference literature, with the help of the proposed method and its calculation formulas, it is easy to calculate the true diffusion coefficients. There is much more reference literature for the mutual diffusion coefficients of binary gas systems under different thermodynamic conditions. In addition to tables with mutual diffusion coefficients at different temperatures and given pressure, the thermophysical reference literature gives power formulas for recalculation of the mutual diffusion coefficient for the necessary thermodynamic parameters, where the degree is an individual parameter of the binary system of gases and is given in the reference literature. Therefore, the method allows very accurately calculate the true diffusion coefficients for the necessary thermodynamic parameters and the selected binary system of gases.
