ONE-DIMENSIONAL TEMPERATURE FIELD OF THE RUNNER NONRADIANT THERMAL COMBUSTION |

The possibilities and limitations of the thermal theory of combustion based on the use of the laws of conservation of mass and energy are analyzed. The temperature field arising during the one-dimensional motion seat of the combustion in the medium is investigated. Analytical expressions are constructed for the temperature and concentration of the combustible component during frontal combustion. Based on the comparison of analytical expressions for the cases of arbitrary and abrupt dependences of the reaction rate coefficients on temperature, an expression for the ignition temperature is proposed.
