DETERMINATION OF SALT CONTENT IN CUMULATIVE DROPS |

In the presented material, the process of determining the salt content in cumulative drops is studied. The study describes a classification of liquid spray methods, including combined methods. A diagram of the destruction of a liquid jet with an increase in the velocity of its outflow is given. It is noted that the phenomenon of liquid cumulation allows not only to obtain liquid drops, but also to change their chemical composition, change the physical properties of the liquid, and charge the substance drops. An expression for calculating the salt content in cumulative droplets is presented. The results obtained indicate that the concentration of salts in the cumulative droplets was an order of magnitude lower than the concentration of the bulk solution. This phenomenon corresponds to the process of droplet desalination. This makes it possible to establish a relationship between the salt content in drops and in the initial solution. The correlation coefficient has a value of 1. The article presents the dependence of the logarithm of the concentration of a substance in an aerosol on the logarithm of the concentration in a bulk solution, as well as the dependence of the concentration of sea salts in cumulative droplets as a function of the droplet radius. An expression is given for calculating the main indicator of ion fractionation - the separation criterion. The data on the fractionation of inorganic ions during the rupture of film drops obtained both by rupture of individual bubbles and films of dynamic foam, as well as cumulative drops, are compared. The influence of physicochemical factors on the separation criterion is considered.
