DYNAMICS OF DEFORMATION OF A POROMERIC MATERIAL UNDER THE ACTION OF LARGE SHOCK LOADS |

A nonlinear model of the dynamics of deformation of porous bodies made of foamed closed-cell materials based on various polymers – polyurethanes, polyvinyl chlorides, polystyrenes and others, including polyethylene foams, is proposed. To construct a nonlinear model, a model of a gas-filled porous Bio medium was used. The porosity of the foamed body under large pore deformations is determined. Formulas for the gas pressure in the pores under isothermal compression and for the medium modules are obtained. A system of nonlinear equations describing the deformation of the medium is constructed. Boundary-value problems in the deformation of a body by external surge pressure and inertial mass are considered. A calculation analysis of the body deformation with different variations of the parameters of a porous body and external influences in the form of surge pressure and inertial mass pressure with external acceleration is carried out. The calculation of the kinematic characteristics of displacement, velocity, acceleration on the surface of the body is also carried out, which allows us to estimate the amount of nonlinear damping of the object under impact.
