Applied Physics and Mathematics Annotation << Back ANALYSIS OF FLUCTUATION PROCESSES B.I. YAKUBOVICH The importance of studying fluctuations, both for fundamental and for applied purposes, makes it appropriate to consider fluctuation processes from a common positions. Rigorous analysis in fairly general form of fluctuation processes is necessary in order to give a quantitative description that can be widely used in physical and technical studies. Generally speaking, fluctuation processes can have statistical relations between process events and can be called up by group of fluctuation sources. The article analyzes fluctuation processes with the parameters distribution functions defined in a general form and with the statistical relations between consequent events of process defined in a general form. Fluctuation processes are analyzed taking into account fluctuations in the number of fluctuation sources. The spectrum of fluctuation process is calculated. An expression is calculated that relates the spectrum of fluctuation process to the spectrum of fluctuations in the number of sources of fluctuations and to the spectrum of fluctuations caused by separate source. Expression for the spectrum of fluctuations caused by separate source of fluctuations is calculated. Expression for the fluctuation spectrum of the number of fluctuation sources is calculated. As a result, a general expression was calculated for spectrum of fluctuation process. Fluctuation process analyzed in a fairly general form, in numerous particular cases, describes various fluctuation processes associated with various physical mechanisms. Therefore, obtained expression for spectrum of fluctuation process can be widely applied. It can be used to study fluctuations in various fields of physics and in solving numerous technical problems.
